Scott was born in 1971 and grew up in Bedfordshire (where he still lives today), in a motorcycling family. He learnt to ride a motorbike at the tender age of two years, on a sidecar mini bike made by his father. Scott began motorcycle racing at the age of eighteen, and has raced at the Isle of Man, Daytona - U.S.A., all across Europe and the UK.
During the TT races in 2000, Scott crashed at Ballaspur where he sustained numerous injuries. This resulted in the amputation, below the knee of his left leg. He spent a further three years, on and off the operating table to sort out his right leg, which was severely damaged too, but now OK.
He has successfully returned to motorcycle racing, and is front runner in the British Supermono championship (www.supermono.co.uk). He also organised the first ever amputees motorcycle trackday (www.disabledmotorsport.co.uk), something he hopes to repeat in the near future. You can check out his progress here.
Scott's acting history includes school productions, local amateur dramatics where he has directed some of the group's shows having a reasonable stage presence. Just do not ask him to sing - well at least you won't a second time!
Scott is very sporty playing squash and badminton weekly, occasional rounds of golf, mountain biking and motorcycling (both on the road and track). He can run, but prefers the propulsion of an engine or pedals, unless its last orders!
In October 2007 Scott represented the United Kingdom in the World Championship in Thailand, playing Mens Doubles.
