Robert was born in White Chapel, London on 3 August 1966.
He had been through both public & private education and then aged 18 he joined the Royal Engineers, serving for approximately 3 years and travelling all over Europe & the Middle East in this engagement. Robert was then given an honourable discharge.
After his brief Army career, he worked as a mechanic for 16 years in various garages. Unfortunately it was while at work that he became a victim of a bad accident and as a result of this had a right above knee amputation in November 2002.
This amputation has not been a deterrent to bringing up a family and has now been married for 16 years & is still alive to talk about it !.
