Steve joined the Royal Navy at the age of fifteen and spent most of his time as a Commando playing sports and seeing the world, until a disagreement with a propeller shaft led to his eventual medical discharge due to a failed replacement knee operation. Steve represented the Royal Navy in four sports: Rugby, Hockey, Boxing and Basketball, which is quite an impressive tally !.

| After a lengthy recovery period Steve became a Civil Servant, a career which lasted many years, until he retired from that organisation to become a self employed civil engineerin project manager. |
| Steve's hobbies include: Off road 4 wheel driving, shooting (shotguns) and fishing. |
| Steve has some experience working on both film and T.V. projects as an “extra”, and has done speaking parts. |
