Mark served for three years in the Merchant Navy as an Assistant Steward until a severe motorbike accident in 1980 left him with a brachial plexus injury together with many other serious complications resulting in his left lower forearm amputation in 1992.
Mark has recently completed two years on the trot at college gaining an NVQ in Food Preparation and Cooking. Mark is currently a volunteer caseworker for SSAFA Forces Help.
Mark has had the pleasure of being an extra in a feature film called "Upstaged" with one speaking line with Phil Cool. This experience has given Mark the "acting bug" and he eagerly awaits his next challenge on the stage.
