Whilst Simon was working on a site a large industrial door collapsed on him this resulted in him having his right leg amputated below the knee.

Simon assists with an amputee support group at his local hospital. His interests are mountain biking, swimming, trekking (leg permitting), camping, fishing, reading and walking the dog.
