After leaving school Peter joined the regular army, but due to an accident on the ranges, which resulted in the amputation of his left leg below the knee, he was invalided from the services and then worked for a National Charity in Derbyshire for seven years before becoming a School Bursar. When he retired he took up acting. Peter has a varied port folio of performed work in the theatre, film and television industries. He has the confidence of his own ability to disguise the use of a prosthetic leg. He regards any work offered as an opportunity to promote acting for the disabled an objective he strives to give his best.
Trained at Chichester College, West Sussex Peter holds both the LAMDA Gold (distinction) and Public Speaking Diploma. Peter can speak in French and Malay, but as in his words his proficiency is modest. He has commentated at many Shows, Fetes etc as well as voice over work to microphone and camera.
Peter is qualified with the British Red Cross for Casualty Simulations, and has participated in major training scenarios - in roles ranging from minor injuries to full Mortuary procedures and role-play scenarios.
His hobbies include Computing, Swimming, Scuba Diving, Motor Cycling and had gained is Pilots License, which has unfortunately lapsed.
