Due to artery and vascular problems Tony had the lower part of his leg removed in June 2006.

Tony spent 25 years as a lorry driver working his way to being a Transport Manager. He holds hold both International and National CPC's along with a BSc Transport Management degree. He is also an RTITB forklift Instructor, NVQ A1 assessor and an NPTC assessor and instructor for forklift, safe manual handling and risk assessment operations.His working life has been spent in the transport industry covering many different aspects of road haulage.

Tony's interests include reading, football rugby, boxing and swimming.
