Whilst working in Bosnia in 1993 Michael lost both legs, above the knees, in a road traffic incident. He is a also paralysed from below the chest due to a spinal chord injury.

Along with accepting challenges, some of us would think twice about, Mike enjoys motor sport, driving, travel and needless to say adventures! He is also a Youth Offending Panel Leader.
