In 2004 Keith developed a cancerous tumour which re-occured after treatment in 2005 and 2007. In May 2007 Keith had is leg removed through the hip.

He has many interests including sea fishing, Formula 1 racing, playing with radio controlled helicopters football and walking with his dogs. Keith has had experience in front of a camera by participating in adverts.
