Adrian had his left leg amputated, below the knee, after an infection developed following an operation on his ankle.

He has still maintained the activities he pursued before the amputation. Adrian enjoys cycling, swimming, badminton, the gym and wheelchair rugby. The more sedate hobbies are reading and spending time with his family.
